Mississippi High School Softball - Kosciusko bounces Madison Central
April 1, 2025: Madison, MS 39110 The Kosciusko Whippets softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Madison Central Jaguars to 4 in the Whippets non-league win on Tuesday.
The Whippets now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 3. Kosciusko will confront a Hornets team coming off a 12-10 league win over Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 12-8.
With the loss, Madison Central moves to 5-5 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Clinton (Clinton, MS) to confront the Arrows in a 7A Region 2 battle on Thursday, April 3. The Arrows come into the battle with a record of 10-11. Clinton lost 4-2 in their recent league battle against Starkville (Starkville, MS)
