In Wednesday's league bout, the Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), by a tally of 21-1.

Next up, the Pirates encounter the Fort Morgan Mustangs (Fort Morgan, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 3. Alameda will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO).

With the defeat, Platte Canyon drops to 2-3 on the year. The Huskies travel to Dawson School (Lafayette, CO) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 3.
