In Wednesday's non-league game, the host El Capitan Gauchos baseball squad scored a tight 7-0 triumph over the Heritage Patriots.

With the triumph, El Capitan moves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Gauchos travel to Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Monday, April 6. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 1-14.
