The Donovan Catholic Griffins triumphed over the visiting Jackson Memorial Jaguars softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Griffins now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinelands Regional for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 7. Donovan Catholic will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 17-13 non-league loss to Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Jackson Memorial moves to 0-1 on the season.
