In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Fenton Bison softball squad scored a close 10-7 triumph over the Larkin Royals.

With the triumph, Fenton upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bison travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Friday, April 3. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 4-5. St. Joseph-Ogden won 8-1 in their recent non-league battle against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL)

With the loss, Larkin moves to 2-4 on the season. The Royals travel to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 8. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 0-3.
