April 10, 2022: Rockford, IL 61101 The crowd at Sunday's non-league test between the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) and the host Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL), saw Bloom's soccer squad triumph over Rockford Auburn by a count of 6-1.
The Blazing Trojan now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Joliet Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. Bloom will meet a Steelmen squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Rockford Auburn drops to 1-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to meet the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 test on Thursday, April 14. The E-Rabs come into the test with a record of 1-3. Rockford East lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Hononegah (Rockton, IL)
