Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Gretna upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Dragons host Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE) to clash with the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11. The Knights go into the match with a record of 2-2. Mount Michael Benedictine lost 5-4 in their recent non-league match against Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran (Wahoo, NE)

The Wildcats (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawks go into the non-league match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Lincoln Southwest was edged by Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE), 10-5, in a non-league match.
