April 10, 2023: Knoxville, TN 37919 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN) and the visiting Greeneville Greene Devils (Greeneville, TN), saw Bearden's soccer squad beat Greeneville by a count of 5-1.
The Bulldogs now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hardin Valley Academy for a 3A District 4 test on Thursday, April 13. Bearden will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 league win over William Blount (Maryville, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Greeneville drops to 6-1 on the season. The Greene devils host Unicoi County (Erwin, TN) to meet the Blue Devils in a 2A District 1 test on Tuesday, April 11. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 4-3. Unicoi County won 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Cherokee (Rogersville, TN)
