The Greene Trojans routed the host Norwich Purple Tornado softball squad by a count of 25-2 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Delaware Academy (Delhi, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 4 Midstate I battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Delaware Academy was routed by Brookfield Central (Brookfield, NY), 22-2, in a non-league battle.
The Purple Tornado now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Susquehanna Valley for a Section 4 Southern Tier - Central battle on Wednesday, April 12.
