Virginia High School Softball - King & Queen Central bounces Huguenot
April 10, 2023: Richmond, VA 23225 King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Huguenot Falcons (Richmond, VA), 23-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Royal Tigers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charles City for a Tidewater challenge on Tuesday, April 11. King & Queen Central will face a Panthers squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Huguenot falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Petersburg (Petersburg, VA) to face the Crimson Wave in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. The Crimson Wave enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Petersburg lost 23-10 in their recent league challenge against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA)
