Illinois High School Softball - St. Thomas More falls to Monticello
April 10, 2023: Champaign, IL 61822 In Monday's league outing, the visiting Monticello Sages softball team scored a nice 27-0 win over the St. Thomas More Sabers.
Coming up next, the Sages battle the Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 12. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Maroons enter the outing with a 3-10 record after their 8-2 league loss to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL).
The Sabers (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints enter the Illini Prairie outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Bloomington Central Catholic ran past Bloomington (Bloomington, IL), 8-1, in a non-league outing.
