Virginia High School Softball - King William bounces Amelia County
April 10, 2024: Amelia Court House, VA 23002 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the King William Cavaliers (King William, VA) and the host Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), witnessed King William's softball squad tip Amelia County by a count of 7-1.
The Cavaliers now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Point for a non-league match on Thursday, April 11. King William will meet a Pointers squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Pointers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Amelia County moves to 1-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Cosby (Midlothian, VA) to meet the Titans in a non-league match on Monday, April 15. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Cosby won 12-2 in their recent non-league bout against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA)
