North Carolina High School Softball - West Stanly can't get by Southwestern Randolph
April 10, 2024: Oakboro, NC 28129 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) softball team held off the host West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Southwestern Randolph moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to North Moore (Robbins, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Monday, April 15. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 1-3. North Moore lost 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)
In their next game, the Colts play the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 11. West Stanly will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Ragin' Bulls come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 17-3 non-league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
