Minnesota High School Softball - Anoka bounces Cambridge-Isanti
April 10, 2024: Cambridge, MN 55008 Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Tornadoes now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong for a Northwest Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 11. Anoka will face a Falcons squad coming off a 16-3 league win over Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Cambridge-Isanti falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bluejackets host Monticello (Monticello, MN) to face the Magic in a Mississippi 8 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Magic enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Monticello won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN)
