April 10, 2024: Buckhorn, KY 41721 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY) and the host Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY), witnessed Owsley County's softball squad prevail over Buckhorn by a count of 10-0.
The Owls / Lady Owls now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cordia for a non-league match on Friday, April 12. Owsley County will face a Lions squad coming off a 22-0 non-league loss to Lee County (Beattyville, KY). The Lions record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Buckhorn moves to 2-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Breathitt County (Jackson, KY) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Saturday, April 13. The Bobcats go into the match with a record of 8-5. Breathitt County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Hazard (Hazard, KY)
