South Carolina High School Softball - Gaffney bounces East Rutherford
April 10, 2024: Gaffney, SC 29341 The Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) softball routed the visiting East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), 12-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Indians (11-6) will now prepare for their bout against Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Cavaliers go into the AAAAA Region 2 bout with a 4-9 record. In their last bout, Dorman was routed by Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC), 12-5, in a non-league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Patton for a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A bout on Friday, April 12. East Rutherford will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-9.
