Maryland High School Softball - Magruder bounces Springbrook
April 10, 2024: Rockville, MD 20855 Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD), 33-17 in a league challenge.
The Colonels now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Einstein for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16.
With the loss, Springbrook falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD) to face the Panthers in a Montgomery County 4A - East challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Paint Branch won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwood (Silver Spring, MD)
