Louisiana High School Baseball - Bunkie prevails Lake Arthur
April 10, 2025: Bunkie, LA 71322 The Bunkie Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Lake Arthur Tigers to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now hold a 14-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Negreet for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Bunkie will play a Indians team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA). The Indians record now stands at 6-23.
With the defeat, Lake Arthur drops to 13-17 on the year. The Tigers travel to Merryville (Merryville, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 7-9. Merryville lost 14-2 in their recent league test against Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA)
