April 10, 2025: Chillicothe, MO 64601 The Chillicothe Hornets baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Carrollton Trojans to 2 in the Hornets non-league win on Thursday.
The Hornets now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moberly for a Class 4 District 7 test on Monday, April 14.
With the defeat, Carrollton drops to 5-4 on the year. The Trojans host Glasgow (Glasgow, MO) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 4-1. Glasgow won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Fayette (Fayette, MO)
