The Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) baseball the visiting Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY), 8-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Briar Jumpers now own a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Casey County for a District 47 challenge on Monday, April 14. Somerset will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Barbourville (Barbourville, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 6-8.

With the defeat, Glasgow drops to 5-9 on the year. The Scotties host South Warren (Bowling Green, KY) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 12-2. South Warren won 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Pensacola Catholic (Pensacola, FL)
