April 10, 2025: Independence, LA 70443 The Slaughter Community Charter Knights baseball squad (Slaughter, LA), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Independence Tigers (Independence, LA)
With the triumph, Independence moves its record to 15-11 on the season. The Tigers travel to East Feliciana (Jackson, LA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league contest on Friday, April 11. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 1-14.
The Knights now possess a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Allen for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 12. Slaughter Community Charter will confront a Pelicans squad coming off a 20-10 league win over Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Pelicans record now stands at 19-9.
