In Thursday's league bout, the Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY) baseball squad edged the visiting Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY), by a tally of 2-1.

Next up, the Gaels encounter the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) in a Catholic Staten Island bout, on Friday, April 11. Kennedy Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY).
