April 10, 2025: Lone Grove, OK 73443 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lone Grove Longhorns (Lone Grove, OK) and the visiting Sterling Tigers (Sterling, OK), saw Lone Grove's baseball team gain a win over Sterling by a tally of 10-2.
The Longhorns (21-3) will now prepare for their battle against Newcastle (Newcastle, OK). The Racers enter the non-league battle with a 17-2 record. In their last battle, Newcastle prevailed over Guthrie (Guthrie, OK), 10-6, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Washington Warriors (Washington, OK) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 12. Sterling will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 13-5 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Woodward (Woodward, OK).
