April 10, 2025: Murfreesboro, AR 71958 The Murfreesboro Rattlers (Murfreesboro, AR) baseball trounced the visiting Malvern Leopards (Malvern, AR), 18-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Rattlers now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Caddo Hills for a 2A Region 7 challenge on Friday, April 11. Murfreesboro will clash with a Indians team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Spring Hill (Hope, AR). The Indians record now stands at 3-7.
With the defeat, Malvern drops to 8-7 on the year. The Leopards host Bauxite (Bauxite, AR) to clash with the Miners in a 4A Region 5 South challenge on Friday, April 11. The Miners go into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Bauxite lost 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Woodlawn (Rison, AR)
