Ewing Blue Devils (Trenton, NJ) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Lawrence Cardinals (Lawrenceville, NJ), 9-8 in a league game.

With the triumph, Ewing improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Steinert (Hamilton, NJ) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 3-0.

The Cardinals now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Lawrenceville School for a non-league game on Friday, April 11. Lawrence will play a Big Red squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Peddie (Hightstown, NJ). The Big Red record now stands at 3-2.
