Michigan High School Baseball - Chippewa Valley holds off Algonac
April 10, 2026: Clinton Township, MI 48038 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) and the visiting Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI), saw Chippewa Valley's baseball team gain a win over Algonac by a tally of 8-4.
The Big Reds (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Utica (Utica, MI). The Chieftains enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Utica was overwhelmed by Romeo (Romeo, MI), 6-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Muskrats face the Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 11. Algonac will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 4-3 league win over Cadillac (Cadillac, MI).
