Wheat Ridge Farmers (Wheat Ridge, CO) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO), 16-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Wheat Ridge advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Farmers travel to Evergreen (Evergreen, CO) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, April 11. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 6-4. Evergreen won 7-4 in their recent non-league match against D'Evelyn (Denver, CO)

The Trojans now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skyview for a 4A/5A Colorado match on Tuesday, April 14. Aurora Central will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 23-4 league win over Thornton (Thornton, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-6.
