The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) and the host Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), saw Montgomery County's baseball team get by Barren County by a tally of 3-2.

The Indians (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Carroll County (Carrollton, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Carroll County held off Hart County (Munfordville, KY), 11-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 10. Barren County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 22-16 non-league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL).
