The Pius X Thunderbolts baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Bennington Badgers to 1 in the Thunderbolts non-league win on Friday.

The Thunderbolts now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seward for a non-league test on Monday, April 13. Pius X will play a Bluejays team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 9-3.

With the defeat, Bennington drops to 9-5 on the year. The Badgers travel to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE) to play the Antlers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 18. The Antlers go into the test with a record of 5-9. Elkhorn lost 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE)
