In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Thatcher Eagles baseball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Globe Tigers.

The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, Benjamin Franklin was tipped by Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ), 9-1, in a non-league game.
