Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hillsboro Hilltoppers (Hillsboro, IL), 11-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Southwestern advances its record to 3-7 on the season. The Piasa Birds host Calhoun (Hardin, IL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, April 11. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 3-3. Calhoun lost 6-5 in their recent league match against Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL)

The Hilltoppers now have a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-City for a non-league match on Saturday, April 11. Hillsboro will battle a Tornado squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Lutheran (Springfield, IL). The Tornado record now stands at 0-6.
