In Thursday's league bout, the Winters Warriors (Winters, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), by a tally of 11-1.

Next up, the Warriors encounter the East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) in a Sac Valley bout, on Friday, April 17. Winters will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 13-6 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Maxwell (Maxwell, CA).
