The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Spencerville Bearcats (Spencerville, OH) and the host Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH), observed Spencerville's softball team prevail over Upper Scioto Valley by a tally of 14-1.

The Bearcats (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Elida (Elida, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Elida knocked off Lima Central Catholic (Lima, OH), 20-5, in a non-league bout.
