St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 15-8 in a league test.

The Indians now have a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watauga for a Conference 16 test on Monday, April 15. St. Stephens will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 11-4 league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-10.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a Conference 16 test, on Monday, April 15. Patton will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.
