April 11, 2022: Charleston, SC 29492 The Bishop England Battling Bishops baseball team (Charleston, SC), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH)
The Eagles now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Providence for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 12. St. Edward will face a Panthers team coming off a 11-6 non-league win over Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 16-0.
Next, the Battling Bishops face the North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC) in a AAA Region 8 outing, on Monday, April 18. Bishop England will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 14-0 league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
