High School Lacrosse - Mountain Island Charter overwhelms Varsity Opponent
April 11, 2022: , The Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 11-6 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Mountain Island Charter upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Raptor travel to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC) to battle the Crusaders in a Catawba Shores/Metro 8/South Piedmont outing on Wednesday, April 13. The Crusaders go into the outing with a record of 11-6. Christ the King lost 16-6 in their recent non-league outing against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC)
With the defeat, Varsity Opponent drops to 10-18 on the season. The travel to Goshen Central (Goshen, NY) to battle the Gladiators in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 14. The Gladiators go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Goshen Central won 13-10 in their recent non-league outing against O'Neill (Highland Falls, NY)
