Texas High School Softball - Newman Smith bounces Conrad
April 11, 2022: Carrollton, TX 75006 Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Conrad Chargers (Dallas, TX), 36-21 in a league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson for a 5A Region II District 11 challenge on Thursday, April 14. Newman Smith will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Conrad falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Turner (Carrollton, TX) to battle the Lions in a 5A Region II District 11 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Turner won 17-7 in their recent league challenge against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX)
