West Virginia High School Softball - Hurricane bounces George Washington
April 11, 2022: Hurricane, WV 25526 The Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) softball routed the visiting George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV), 11-2 in Monday's league bout.
The Redskins (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Red Dragons enter the Mountain State challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Albans beat Spring Valley (Huntington, WV), 3-2, in a league challenge.
With the loss, George Washington falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Capital (Charleston, WV) to battle the Cougars in a Mountain State challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Capital lost 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Riverside (Belle, WV)
