North Carolina High School Softball - Halifax Academy bounces Harrells Christian Academy
April 11, 2022: Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders (Harrells, NC), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rocky Mount Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Halifax Academy will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Harrells Christian Academy falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Oakwood (Greenville, NC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Oakwood lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)
