April 11, 2022: Frederick, MD 21701 The Middletown Knights softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Linganore Lancers to 5 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.
Coming up next, the Knights encounter the Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) in a CMC outing, on Tuesday, April 12. Middletown will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Leopards enter the outing with a 0-2 record after their 27-9 league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, MD).
The Lancers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Hubs enter the Monocacy Valley - Antietam outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, North Hagerstown was routed by Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD), 12-2, in a non-league outing.
