New York High School Softball - Rush-Henrietta gets by Our Lady of Mercy
April 11, 2022: Henrietta, NY 14467 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY) and the visiting Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs (Rochester, NY), witnessed Rush-Henrietta's softball squad tip Our Lady of Mercy by a count of 2-1.
The Royal Comets now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fairport for a Class AA match on Wednesday, April 13. Rush-Henrietta will meet a Red Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Our Lady of Mercy moves to 0-1 on the season. The Monarchs host Irondequoit (Rochester, NY) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 12. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 1-5. Irondequoit won 18-1 in their recent non-league match against Eastridge (Rochester, NY)
