Virginia High School Lacrosse - Bishop Ireton overwhelms Eastport-South Manor
April 11, 2023: Alexandria, VA 22314 The Bishop Ireton Cardinals lacrosse team scored 15 points and held the visiting Eastport-South Manor Sharks to 7 in the Cardinals non-league win on Tuesday.
The Cardinals (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD). The go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart prevailed over St. John's (Washington, DC), 12-11, in a non-league game.
The Sharks (3-2) will now prepare for their game against West Babylon (West Babylon, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 11 II game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, West Babylon was overwhelmed by Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY), 15-3, in a league game.
