April 11, 2023: Aldie, VA 20105 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) and the host John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA), saw Broad Run's soccer squad knock off John Champe by a count of 3-1.
The Spartans now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Dominion for a Dulles test on Monday, April 17. Broad Run will meet a Titans squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Freedom (South Riding, VA). The Titans record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, John Champe drops to 3-1 on the season. The Knights host Battlefield (Haymarket, VA) to meet the Bobcats in a Cedar Run test on Wednesday, April 12. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 2-1. Battlefield won 4-0 in their recent league test against Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA)
