Virginia High School Softball - Hanover nudges Caroline
April 11, 2023: Milford, VA 22514 Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dinwiddie for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Hanover will battle a Generals squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Generals record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Caroline falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Massaponax lost 20-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)
