The McIntosh Chiefs lacrosse team scored 9 points and limited the visiting Union Grove Wolverines to 8 in the Chiefs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chiefs (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Vikings go into the 5A-6A Area 8 match with a 4-10 record. In their last match, Northgate nudged Newnan (Newnan, GA), 15-8, in a league match.

With the defeat, Union Grove drops to 7-5 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, April 13. The Knights go into the match with a record of 8-6. Pace Academy won 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Marist (Atlanta, GA)
