Virginia High School Softball - Narrows loses to Craig County
April 11, 2023: New Castle, VA 24127 The Craig County Rockets softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Narrows Green Waves to 1 in the Rockets league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Craig County moves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Rockets host Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA) to clash with the Fighting Blues in a Pioneer game on Tuesday, April 18. The Fighting Blues come into the game with a record of 3-3. Parry McCluer lost 13-8 in their recent non-league game against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)
In their next game, the Green Waves clash with the Covington Cougars (Covington, VA) in a Pioneer game, on Thursday, April 13. Narrows will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
