April 11, 2024: Tulsa, OK 74107 Berryhill Chiefs (Tulsa, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK), 16-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Berryhill upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Chiefs host Hilldale (Muskogee, OK) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, April 12. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 16-7. Hilldale lost 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Poteau (Poteau, OK)
The Cougars (13-10) will now prepare for their game against Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Sequoyah ran past Miami (Miami, OK), 9-3, in a non-league game.
