April 11, 2024: Missouri Valley, IA 51555 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) and the host Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA), saw Jefferson's soccer squad beat Missouri Valley by a margin of 4-0.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Omaha Northwest for a non-league test on Friday, April 12. Jefferson will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Bryan (Omaha, NE). The Huskies record now stands at 0-12.
With the loss, Missouri Valley drops to 2-3 on the season. The Big reds travel to Riverside (Oakland, IA) to meet the Bulldogs in a Western Iowa test on Tuesday, April 16. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-3. Riverside lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA)
