Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Barnstable drops to Nantucket
April 11, 2024: Nantucket, MA 02554 In Thursday's league test, the host Nantucket Whalers lacrosse squad scored a good 13-5 victory over the Barnstable Red Hawks.
The Whalers now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Stang for a non-league test on Saturday, April 13. Nantucket will face a Spartans squad coming off a 18-3 league loss to Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-4.
In their next game, the Red Hawks face the Plymouth North Eagles (Plymouth, MA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 16. Barnstable will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 1-4 record after their 9-5 league loss to Pembroke (Pembroke, MA).
