April 11, 2024: Commack, NY 11725 Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Commack Cougars (Commack, NY) and the visiting Sachem North (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY), witnessed Commack's lacrosse squad gain a win over Sachem North by a count of 11-8.
The Cougars now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northport for a Section 11 I battle on Tuesday, April 16. Commack will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 10-9 league win over Ward Melville (East Setauket, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
In their next game, the clash with the Half Hollow Hills East Thunderbirds (Dix Hills, NY) in a Section 11 I battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Sachem North will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 9-4 league win over Smithtown East (Smithtown, NY).
